September 2013 - Till date: Returned to Menlo Park office and joined the AI group.
April 2013 - September 2013: Visiting Facebook Dublin, London, Paris, Hyderabad offices and touring Europe and India.
December 2012 - March 2013: Working on various Facebook products related to computer vision. Graph Search and new News Feed are a couple of them that got surfaced.
August 2012 - December 2012: Built world's largest image classifier with Lubomir Bourdev at Facebook.
May 2012 - August 2012: Worked on 3D maps at Google Seattle as an Intern with Dr. Steve Seitz's group.
August 2011 - May 2012: Worked on Surface reconstruction for civil structural engineering using 3D color data.
May 2011 - August 2011: Worked on RGBD SLAM using 3D data from kinect to detect planes for doing mapping.
May 2011: Received my Masters in Computer Science degree from Georgia Tech.
August 2010 - April 2010: Successfully demonstrated Localization and Navigation solution using EKF and Weighted Hough transform on the Omnimove platform at Boeing Paint hangar research laboratory.
May 2010 - August 2010: I worked at IBM Watson labs in New York. I was part of the Exploratory Vision and worked on two problems: Anomaly detection for Surveillance data and Anomaly detection for Rail safety.
August 2009 - May 2010: I started pursuing my Ph.D. at Robotics and Intelligent Machines(RIM) lab, Georgia Tech. I was collaborating with Dr. Frank Dellaert on Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology(MAST), Distributed SLAM and EasySLAM projects.
December 2008 - August 2009: I was part of the Vision Technologies group at Sarnoff Corporation. During my stay at Sarnoff I worked on various projects related to Computer Vision and Robotics. Sarnoff is an amazing place to work and the people at Sarnoff are renowned for their research contributions. My motivation to pursue higher studies comes partly from interacting with people there. I interacted and worked with Dr. Rakesh Teddy Kumar, Dr. Harpreeth Sawhney, Dr. Manoj Aggarwal, Mr. Jayan Eledath, Dr. Bogdan Matei during my tenure at Sarnoff.
July 2006 - December 2008: I joined Sarnoff Bangalore(now Serial Innovations) as Technical staff. I worked on projects related to Computer Vision and Robotics and developed various prototypes. I constantly collaborated with the Computer Vision team at Sarnoff, Princeton. I worked closely with Arvind Lakshmikumar who headed the Bangalore team and worked with Dr. Manoj Aggarwal and Dr. Barbara Hanna from the Princeton team. I worked with Vincent Andres and Sarah Paris in making one of the prototypes into a product.
July 2002 - July 2006: Obtained my Bachelors in Compute Science from IIIT Hyderabad. I also pursued Honors in Computer vision from CVIT during this time. At CVIT I worked with Dr. C. V. Jawahar, Dr. Anoop M. Namboodiri. and Dr. P. J. Narayanan.
