AYSO Region 256 is pleased to announce receipt of a $5,000 grant from Pacific Gas and Electric Company that was awarded to our VIP program for special needs players.  Their award letter noted that our “organization’s success in providing opportunities for children with special needs access to soccer through the AYSO VIP program is a great example of community-based teamwork."

Summer Soccer Camp:
The British Are Coming! The British Are Coming!

This summer we are again partnering with Challenger Sports to offer a one-week soccer camp July 24 - 28. More information can be found here. There will be a free clinic on Saturday, June 17th, by Challenger Sports. More information below.

New website and online registration process:
We will be significantly updating our website during the spring and summer of 2017. In addition, the registration process will be changing and making your registration payment online will be a new option. Stay tuned for more information.


Fall 2017 News


Fall 2017 season sign-ups
We are starting the sign-ups for the fall season a little earlier this year. This will allow us to start forming the teams the beginning of August, providing more practice time before the start of the season. Full details of the season can be found by clicking here. We have scheduled more in-person registration events this year due to the new registration process and web site (see schedule below).

Only online registration forms are accepted - hand-written registration forms are no longer accepted by the National AYSO organization. Log in to (link to be provided to the new on-line registration site) to preregister. Complete the online registration application, print a copy and bring with you to one of the registration processing events. The new on-line registration system allows for on-line payments. If you chose to pay at one of our on-site registration events, we are only accepting cash and credit/debit cards so please do not show up with checks. Regular registration fee is $100 per player, late registration fee is $125.00 per player and very late registration fee is $150 per player. Late registration is any registration in August. Very late registration is any registration after August.

  • June 14 @ Prunedale Mountain Mike's Pizza from 5PM - 7PM
  • June 17 @ Manzanita Park from 10AM - 2PM
    • Signup location for this day is the soccer snack shack on field 1
    • FREE soccer clinic on field 1. Clinic times:
      • 10AM - 11AM: U06 & U08
      • 11AM - 12PM: U08 & U10
      • 12:30PM - 1:30PM: U12 and above
  • June 28 @ Prunedale Mountain Mike's Pizza from 5PM - 7PM
  • July 1 @ Manzanita Park from 10AM - 2PM
  • July 12 @ Prunedale Mountain Mike's Pizza from 5PM - 7PM
  • July 15 @ Manzanita Park from 10AM - 2PM
  • July 26 @ Prunedale Mountain Mike's Pizza from 5PM - 7PM
  • July 29 @ Manzanita Park from 10AM - 2PM

For on-site registration, please bring a copy of the player's birth certificate for age verification. We do not keep it - we only use it to verify the player's age.

Unless otherwise specified, the registration processing events at Manzanita Park will be at the meeting room up the hill by the baseball fields.

PLEASE NOTE: Your player's application will not be  fully processed until payment has been received and the player forms have been turned in. This means you will not receive emails about open practices or other important dates and information until the application and payment is received. Players that are not fully registered are not allowed to practice or play in matches.

Fall 2015 Summary
Congratulations to our U10 - U14 teams on their performance at the 2015 Area 2J tournament. Five of the seven teams we had at the tournament placed:
  • U10G-03 Earthquakes: 1st place and advance to the  Section 2 tournament on December 12 - 13 in Foster City
  • U10G-02 Pink Panthers: 3rd place
  • U12G-01 Purple Xplosion: 2nd place and advance to the Section 2 tournament on December 12 - 13 in Foster City
  • U14G-01 Terminators: 2nd place
  • U14B-01 Wolf Pack, 2nd place
Though they did not place, our U10B-02 team, Black Mambas, and our U12B-02 team, Black Dragons, played their hearts out and both lost in the quarter finals to the teams that went on to take 1st place in their respective divisions.

Good job everyone!!! Best of luck to our U10G-03 Earthquakes and U12G-01 Purple Xplosion at the Section 2 tournament.
