My Philosophy of Education and Leadership

Education is a humanitarian profession and I enjoy helping people and bringing them closer to each other. I believe that building relationships and connecting with people is imperative in developing a greater community. As Tom Peters, author of “In Search of Excellence” once said, “Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.” Leaders focus on the strengths of others and that is how they show that they value others’ expertise first, before they look to help them develop in other areas. Exemplary teachers have the same approach with their students.
