Mission Statement
The Committee supports Golden Gate National Cemetery’s beautification projects to enhance the cemetery’s appearance.
The Committee:
Sponsors the annual Memorial Day Program.
Sponsors the annual Veterans Day Program.
Sponsors the annual Wreaths Across America Program.
Raises public awareness about the cemetery's historic significance.
Funds cemetery beautification projects above and beyond the maintenance by the Veterans Administration.
Raises awareness of the importance of our brave men and women who are serving or have served our country.

MEMORIAL DAY PROGRAM

Program starts at 11:00 a.m.
There will be a musical prelude before the program that starts at 10:30 a.m.
Coffee and Doughnuts will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Note: There will not be a luncheon after the program

U.S. Purple Heart Day, August 7, is the kind of day created to give back. It's a day for Americans to remember and honor the men and women who bravely represented their country and were wounded or killed whilst serving.
