Keith Silvernagle (pictured left) survived the elements to take home the Champion's trophy from the 16th annual Auto Clearing Senior Men's Golf Championship held from June 20 to June 22, 2017. His 79 on the final day was enough to slip into the lead on a soggy day at Moon Lake Golf Club.

Other than the weather (everything from sun to wind to rain), participants enjoyed one of the best tournaments in the province. Each entrant received:

• 3 rounds of golf with a cart at beautiful Moon Lake Golf Club

• 3 excellent meals prepared by Moon Lake's chef washed down by a Great Western brew

• a door prize (that's right, there's a prize for everyone)

• a chance for up to $10,000 cash hole in one prize on each day

• closest to the pin prize for each age group each day

• a 44% chance of winning an award in your age group flight ($100 for the gross and net winners, $60 for the runners-up)
