Jennifer Wright, Director
Jen is the head coach of Placer High School Girls Volleyball Program while maintaining a full time job as an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Specialist with the Placer County Office of Education. In her 10 year tenure as the head coach, the team has won 6 PVL championships and has gone to the playoffs 8 straight years. Her program has also produced 2 league MVP’s. She has had numerous players go on to play at the college level such as San Jose State, Sierra College, UC Santa Cruz to name a few. Before coaching at Placer, Jennifer was the Varsity coach at Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga for 5 years. Prior to that she coached at the middle school and JV levels as well as coaching for various clubs in both Northern and Southern California (teams aged 14-18) She was also a Graduate Assistant at UCLA and the University of the Pacfic. Jen had a great playing career in volleyball which was capped off by a two time NCAA championship at UCLA. Jen has a passion for volleyball and chooses to be so involved because she believes she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on to a new generation of players.
