Auburn Aces Philosophy

Auburn Aces Volleyball Club is a community based volleyball club in Auburn, CA. This club was established in 2011 to promote quality, affordable volleyball for young girls in our area. We are under the directorship of Jennifer Wright, two-time NCAA Champion and former Head Coach of Placer High School Girl’s Volleyball. The club wants our families to have a quality experience that is organized and professional. Our focus will be to play in a competitive, organized volleyball league and give the players a solid experience to improve their volleyball skills. The AAVC staff will be dedicated to providing your athlete with a quality volleyball experience that will focus on fundamentals and technique, resulting in athletes with a higher level of play. We will provide our athletes with the opportunity to continually improve their skills through dedication, hard work and competitive play in a positive learning environment. Our teams’ coaches will strive to promote a sportsmanlike attitude throughout the season!

• • The club will field teams in the following age brackets U12, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18.

  • If the numbers are sufficient, we will field a second team in an age bracket.

  • The club will be participating in the WCVBA League. League play will we held at The Grounds in Roseville or in Rancho Cordova.

  • Practices will start with once a week practices in December and twice a week practices at the beginning of January. The season concludes mid May.

  • Teams will be participating in the Far Western Tournament in Reno unless otherwise stated.

  • Practices are held at Placer High School and other facilities in Auburn. The teams practice on Sunday and one day during the week, TBD, for 2 hours per practice.

  • Attendance should be a priority for all practices and tournaments. Playing time on the team will be fair not equal. Attendance by the players at practice and attitude will be a component of the decision by the coach for play time.
