1. Digital Signal and Image Processing

Saumabha Pal and myself jointly presented the paper on Digital Signal and Image processing at Synapse 2003 held in the Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology , Hyderabad. We bagged the third prize in our category.

The paper speaks in general about digital signals and their processing. Certain Image Processing Techniques have been discussed in the second section of the paper. These techniques include edge sharpening, blurring, bit plane slicing, image averaging, edge detection and many more.

2. Spatial Filters in Image Enhacement

We submitted this paper to our college Electronics Department, but never got an opportunity to present it. During this, we could enhance our VB application for seeing the working of spatial filters. We were enchanted by what we saw. The work of Gaussian filter and others was beyond our expectations always. It is given in books and it works!
