Summary:
Research efforts have been given to smart grid security projects that address the current security challenges and foster the current ongoing demand of power grid security research, education, and outreach.
- Designed and implemented large power networks in different software environments.
- Designed, implemented and analyzed the operation several types of superconducting fault current limiters and fault current limiters in different software environments for their live grid application feasibility.
- Designing and implementing several non linear controllers (fuzzy logic controllers, neural network controller etc) for their application in power system stability augmentation in modern power systems.
- Designed and integrated different software environments in a co-simulation platform to analyze the security issues of smart grid system.
- Published and presented several high quality journal and conference papers.
