Project Title : Maintaining Distribution Relay Protection Coordination by Using Bridge Type Fault Current Limiter.
Sponsor: Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) via American Public Power Association (APPA).
Description: The goal of the project is to main distribution relay protection coordination by using a bridge type fault current limiter (BFCL) in series with a distributed generator.
Duration: September 2015 to August 2016.
Note: MLGW is the largest three-service municipal utility in the United States with more than 420,000 customers. MLGW is supplied with electricity by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) (Source).
