Ashkirk Parish Church exists to translate the aims and objectives of the Church of Scotland into the life and experience of a rural community through the
· provision and maintenance of regular weekly worship;
· pastoral care;
· organised activity.
Through these it seeks to
· uphold the Christian faith;
· increase knowledge and understanding of the Christian Gospel;
· foster a sense of devotion and fellowship in the congregation.
We hope these may find their practical expression in love and service to God, to those around us and to those in need.
As a significant meeting place in Ashkirk it is alert to its role in fostering a sense of community among those who live in the area and giving a warm welcome to returning visitors. The church’s door is always open for those who wish to come in for quiet reflection and private prayer.
