L) VIEW POTTED PLANT PAINTINGS

Weeks 9 thru 12: Students were shown how to draw depth and dimension.

An example of a "Flower Pot Sitting on a Table in Room" was drawn for

students to see, then duplicate using their own style and imagination.

Students were asked to create at least four drawings

then choose two to paint and write about.

THE RUN AWAY FLOWER

One day I saw a store. I asked my dad if I could see what's inside. He said yes. When I went inside, I saw all kinds of flowers. When I looked to the right I saw a beautiful red rose. I asked my dad if I could get it for grandma. He said tomorrow. When we came back, the flower was gone. We searched the whole city. Luckily we found the rose in a old barn. I put it in the car. We drove back to the store and bought the rose for Grandma. She was so happy. The Best Rose Ever!

THE EGG FLY PLANT

Everyone knows that venus flytraps love flies. But this one loves them too much. First he eats the flies like normal. But something must be wrong with him. He doesn't digest the flies he eats. He also lays eggs. So I guess that makes him a she. The unique thing is that the eggs don't hatch. So that's why it's called The Egg Fly Plant.

My plant is cool,

more cool than a pool.

It is unique,

It has technique.

The plant is art,

It is not tart.

I will sell it today,

Hooraay!

THE BEAUTY PLANT

There was a drawing. It was a beautiful plant. Under the plant was a small table. On top of the plant is a beautiful bow. I decided to paint the bow pink and the table light yellow with a hint of dark yellow. On the pot there are lines. I covered the lines with light blue, reddish purple, yellow and a bit of green in the corner. Also on the pot it says "Teen Titans Go." Teen Titans Go is my favorite show. I painted the leaves green. The leaves grew tall and beautiful. Also behind the plant is a beautiful picture of a caterpillar and zigzags. I had a lot more blue, so I decided to make blue polka dots all over the painting. This was the process of my painting and I call it The Beauty Plant.

THE FACED PLANT OF THE HOUSE

There was once a house that had two seeds. One had a nose and two eyes, the other had a mouth. In a second a plant had grown two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. The plant was magical. It grew legs and started to venture the dangerous world. The plant then ventured into the forest.

It camouflaged and captured a bear and ate it. The Faced Plant came upon a cave and went inside. The Faced Plant had a brain, and in the cave he saw two bear cubs and barfed out the bear. Everybody lived happily.

THE BEAUTIFUL DAISIES

This painting is about the sun reflecting through the flowers and you can see the sun in the back ground outside the window. The daisies are yellow and gold. They will grow very beautiful in the spring and summer. So that's why I call this painting The Beautiful Daisies.

THE SEA PLANT

This plant came from the sea,

I designed it, Yes, it was me.

This plant is great,

I can paint a rhyme to this on a plate.

There are diamonds and the sun shines in.

The plant is worth a lot of money

and it is sunny.

This is my favorite plant,

then everybody started to chant.

This flower is my power!

THE DISCO FLOWER POT

Today I went to a flower pot store and I saw a colorful pot with fragrant flowers. The cost of the flower pot was $10.50. I went back home and put my pot on a mini chair. The flower pot really blended in with my room so I named my flower pot "the Disco Flower Pot." I will keep that pot forever. I wish I made that astonishing flower pot. I would be rich forever.

MY ART LIFE

Mr. Anton is the nicest teacher. I love art class. It's amazing because of all of the beautiful colors and designs. I get to paint and write all the time. This year was my best experience in art class.

THE POT OF THE EGYPTIAN KING

A long time ago the egyptian king had a pot. The pot gave him powers. One of his servants was eager to have the pot powers so he had a plan. When the egyptian king was asleep the servant stole the pot. He answered the riddle to the pot and the power was all his. Though the servant could not obtain it's powers. The sign of the egyptian king on the pot took his soul and therefore the servant was trapped in the pot for all eternity.

THE PLANT WITH ACTIVITY

On an ordinary day

Over in Singathon,

A little boy said "hey,"

and a plant started to run a marathon.

It was so fast,

It ran across the room,

Past the fan,

Over the moon.

The little boy again said "hey,"

and back came the plant.

The boy said "hooray,"

THE FLOWER POT OF DOOM

Every day in the sky the sun would go down at midnight and die. When it dies, the moon would come up an open the door to a scary place in Doomwood. The home of The Flower Pot of Doom!! It would sit there every night waiting for a person to come in and when it sees them, they become the Flower Pot's next victim! The flower pot would suck that person into his big bowl of blood and eat him for lunch and in the morning eat his face for breakfast. Soon it ended up eating everyone in Doomwood.

THE END…SEE YOU FROM THE DEAD…WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
