Why art history at Eagle Ridge Academy?
Eagle Ridge Academy is a Classical charter school with a history and classics-based focus. Art history is the visual record of the study of the story of humankind and our ideas. It's not just a diary detailing major events and ideas, but more of a "home-movie" of the story of humankind. We urge the study of art in concert with history, literature, religion, government, geography, society, and culture in general. This course enables students to more fully understand the scope and diversity of human history.
