Hunter Peak 2011

On May 28-30, I traveled to Guadalupe Mountains National Park, to participate as an activator in the Summits on the Air program. I decided to camp at Pine Top and activate Hunter Peak (W5/GU-004). Although I've operated QRP from the park several times, this was my first experience participating as an activator in the SoTA program, and I had a ball. I used my Small Wonder Labs SW+ (40m) and KD1JV AT Sprint 3 (80-20m). I completed 10 contacts; 5 each on 40m and 30m.
