Arshavsky Music School Students
Arshavsky Music School former and current students have been accepted to the world's leading music schools such as Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Eastman School, Russian State Conservatory in Moscow, Peabody Conservatory, New England Conservatory and to the finest Universities such as Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Northwestern University, Texas Christian University,Yale University,Rice University,Stanford University, Emory University, Duke University, Brown University and other colleges where they are choosing to pursue their musical education in viola, piano, voice and violin.
Our young artists have successfully participated in such International Competitions as Tchaikovsky (Moscow, Russia), Jina Bachauer (Salt Lake City, US), Puigcerda International (Spain), Atlanta International Piano Competition, Chopin National Competition (Miami, US), Young Artist International Competition (Washington, DC), Lee University Piano Competition (Cleveland,TN). For many years they take the winning places at the Music Teachers National Association's Competitions (sponsored by MTNA Foundation, Baldwin and Yamaha) in Georgia.
One of our students was a winner of the Southern Division Young Artist Steinway Competition and became the National Finalist twice.
In the last few years our young musicians have won the prestigious Atlanta Pro-Mozart Society Scholarship Competition for study at the Mozarteum in Salzburg (Austria), Atlanta Music Club's Violin Scholarship Competition for the Summer study at the Summit Music Festival in New York and Brevard Summer Music Program in North Carolina (US).
Every year our students take the winning places at the Georgia Music Teachers Association's Spring Auditions.
Many of them have participated in the master classes with world's leading teachers such as Zahar Bron,Boris Kuschnir,Gary Graffman, Oxana Yablonskaya, Angela Hewitt, Victor Danchenko, Aaron Rosand, Michail Kopelman, Arkady Aronov, Pavlina Dokovska, Philip Kawin and many others in the United States and around the world.
Our string students have been taking top seats at the orchestras of their schools and colleges.
They successfully participate in various youth and professional symphony and chamber orchestras.
Many of them became the concertmasters of their orchestras (including the Georgia All State Orchestra) and have been awarded the top prizes at the National Orchestra Competitions.
