The use of ARouSA in the evaluation of stocks in the shellfish bank 'Lombos do Ulla' is proving a good match between the estimates of stocks and record of catch of exploited species. Although in some cases certain disagreements can be found, possibly related to the extractive pressure on non-commercial size classes, the evolution of the commercial stock estimates of the three species is parallel to the catches.

Help ducuments for AROUSA application and their tools were compiled into a single document (ARouSA09_manual.pdf), located in the page Downloads and terms of use.
