Welcome to my personal website

My name is Arne, a consultant, data scientist, and curious scientist; now working in edtech at DataCamp, where we aim to teach as many people and enterprises as possible the necessary skills to work with data in the real world. I head here the emerging curriculum team at DataCamp, which focuses on Machine Learning Engineering / MLOps as well as Data Engineering. 

In addition to my work at DataCamp, I also share my expertise as a guest lecturer at the University of Heidelberg, specializing in data science and machine learning.
 

My professional interests are diverse, spanning:

• Statistics, Econometrics, and Machine Learning - both in theory and application.

• MLOps and Data Engineering.

• Education, Learning, and Training.

• Business and Economics.

• Software Engineering and Programming, with a focus on Python and R.

• In the winter term 2024/25, I am giving a seminar at the University of Heidelberg on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for economics students.
