Welcome to the Computational Mechanics Laboratory in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. At the Computational Mechanics Laboratory, our research focuses on the theoretical and computational aspects of nonlinear solid mechanics with a particular emphasis on interface phenomena for subsurface problems.
