Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics and Finance Department @ Toulouse Business School (France).
In January 2024, I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI.
You can find my CV here.
I am an applied economist. My research is question-driven. I apply causal methods to understand how financial and geoeconomic shocks shape macroeconomic outcomes and how they propagate to the microeconomic level. My current focus is household finance, housing markets, and wealth inequality.
I am interested in how housing wealth accumulation and inequality affect various socio-economic outcomes, including human capital accumulation, and political preferences. I also studied how sanctions affected the sanctioned economy as well as domestic banks, firms, and households.
Research Interests: Household Finance, International Finance, Geoeconomics, Political Economy.
