Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics and Finance Department @ Toulouse Business School (France).
In January 2024, I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI.
You can find my CV here.
I am an applied economist. My research is question-driven. I apply causal methods to understand how financial and geoeconomic shocks shape macroeconomic outcomes and how they propagate to the microeconomic level. I studied how sanctions affect the sanctioned economy as well as domestic banks, firms, and households. My current focus is household finance, housing markets, and wealth inequality. I am interested in how housing wealth accumulation and inequality affect various socio-economic outcomes, including human capital, and voting.
Research Interests: Household Finance, International Finance, Geoeconomics, Political Economy.
