Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics and Finance Department @ Toulouse Business School (France).
Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at TBS, and a postdoctoral fellow at CERGE-EI (a joint workplace of the Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic).
In January 2024, I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI.
In 2021-2023, I visited the Economics Department and Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance at Princeton University, USA; the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich, Switzerland; the Department of Accountancy, Finance, and Insurance at KU Leuven, Belgium.
I am an applied economist. My research is question-driven. I apply causal methods to understand how financial and geoeconomic shocks shape macroeconomic outcomes and how they propagate to the microeconomic level. I studied how sanctions affect the sanctioned economy as well as domestic banks, firms, and households. My current focus is household finance, housing markets, and wealth inequality.
In 2025-2026, I co-organize TBS Finance Economics and Econometrics Lab Seminar, please check our schedule and email me if you would like to present.
Research Interests: Household Finance, Housing Markets, International Finance, Applied Macroeconomics, Geoeconomics
