BRAC University Circular - New Telephone System 28/9/7
From October 1, 2007 BRAC University shall have its own Telephone System, the new number will be 88-02-8824051.
Please note the following points for efficient use of the new system:
1. Present system shall remain unchanged for all outgoing calls.
2. BRAC University Voice Guide System will help all incoming calls.
3. Intercom Connection with BRAC Head Office shall be discontinued from September 30, 2007.
4. All Telephone Sets shall continue to have "Lock/Unlock" facilities as at present.
5. All Extension numbers shall remain unchanged.
6. For any assistance please dial "0" to reach the BRAC University Operator.
7. Beyond Office hours all incoming calls shall be diverted to Extension No 4000 (Security Desk).

18/01/07: 2nd BRAC University Convocation
BRAC University graduates willing to participate in the 2nd BRAC University Convocation on February 8, 2007 are advised to visit Registrar's Office and complete all formalities latest by January 25, 2007. Students failing to complete formalities will not be allowed to participate in Convocation funciton - Registrar.
08/01/07:
Students, who are willing to join the convication'07 are adivsed to collect the "Degre Application Form" from the CSE DCO's office and Submit it to the registrar office with the attachment of SSC & HSC or O'leve & A' level certificates as soon as possible. - DCO, CSE

Notice:
In case of further unrest resulting in disruption of communication/transport from the 3rd December 2006 (Sunday) BRAC University, Main Campus, Dhaka and Savar Campus will remain closed. The days of disturbance will be treated as an exam preparatory recess. Make up classes will take place from 15 – 18 December, the schedule will be announced later.

Though it is a matter of common sense that till oborodh goes on, BU will remain closed, the actual concern is whether if BU opens considering oborodh is lightweight on a day.
As I am not able to track all TV channels at all times. In case, Blockade (Oborodh) is withdrawn, please notify me so that everyone else can be informed at earliest time.
As oborodh is known to be continued, it can be deduced that BU is to remain closed tomorrow, Wed, 15, Nov, 2006.
