I have always wanted a farm and land for as long as I can remember. I could never make it living in a city apartment, without the earth to dig in. My dream came true in 2005 when I purchased a 15 acre farm in Prince George's County, Maryland. My main focus began as having a small farm to raise a few critters and keep my horses. Currently I have seven of my own horses and two boarders on the farm. The farm backs up to Rosaryville State Park, which in turn has 1,000 acres of nicely manicured fields and forest through which we ride.
I also have raised Pygmy goats, Rex Rabbits, and King Shepherds. We have a small vegetable garden in the summer, as well as the fruit orchard, and I enjoy growing fragrant and flowering plants and landscaping.
