Biography: Dr. Animesh Chaturvedi is a faculty teaching in the "Data science and Artificial Intelligence" program at IIIT-Dharwad, Karnataka. He did Postdoc at King's College London in collaboration with The Alan Turing Institute. He completed PhD from IIT Indore (in May 2020), MTech from IIITDM Jabalpur (in Aug 2014), and BEng from IET - DAVV University Indore (in May 2011). During MTech, he did research internship work at IIT-Kanpur and Motorola - Arris. He completed PhD and MTech study with 5 IEEE Transactions, 1 IEEE Journal, and 10 premiere IEEE/ACM International Conferences including: DSAA, CloudCom, SMC, and ASE. His teaching and research interests include: DS, AI, Big Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Graph Analytics. He accomplished/supervised research projects on – Hadoop/HDFS/Spark, System networks, Cloud services, Social-media, and Text analytics.

He was selected among 200 Young Researchers by the Heidelberg Laureate Forum with a full travel grant, where he saw and met 20+ Laureates of Computer Science and Mathematics. He was also selected in Virtual HLF 2020 as HLF Alumni. He had given talks at: Motorola Mobility Bangalore, IIT-Kanpur, TU-Eindhoven Netherlands, NTU-Singapore, University of Miyazaki (Sheraton-Grande) Japan, Schloss Dagstuhl (DBLP) Seminars, and CSE IIT-Bombay. He collaborated with professors at University of Cambridge (UK), University of Surrey (UK), University of Tartu (Estonia), Loyola University of Maryland (USA), and University of Paris-Sud (France). 

He is a member of the Program Committee of 32nd ACM CIKM (2022, 2023, 2024), 10th IEEE DSAA (2022, 2023, 2024), IEEE Big Data 2024, and IEEE ANTS 2022. He has been reviewer for several manuscripts submitted to IEEE Transactions on (Artificial intelligence; Knowledge and Data Engineering; Service Computing; Cloud Computing; Big Data; Emerging Topics in (Computing / Computational Intelligence)), IEEE Systems Journal. Reviewer in ACM KDD (2021 and 2020).
