We delivered a workshop "AI in Systems Engineering" as a part of the CityU's AI Explorers: Engineering Tech-a-thon programme where secondary students were invited to explore how intelligent systems, decision analytics, and smart manufacturing shape modern cities and industries. Through hand-on exercises with simple prototypes, they discovered the pivotal role of systems engineers in designing smarter, more efficient, and sustainable solutions—from urban infrastructure to next-generation factories.

We launched a 7-month ' Engineering Tech-a-thon' program which is led by CityUHK professors and the Global Youth Centre under CityU's Bright Future Engineering Talent Hub. The program aims to provide secondary school students in Hong Kong with an exceptional opportunity to engage in genuine university-level academic experiences. We offer secondary school students an immersive undergraduate-level introduction to various aspects in AI and Engineering. It aims to equip student teams to develop competitive solutions and represent their school at the Hong Kong AI Innovators Summit in July 2026.
