Born in Zamora, Spain, he made his first public performance at the age of 14.

He started Trio Latitud Sur. He was also a founder of Duo Pino Brothers with whom he made recorded a Cd “Viajero”, obtaining excellent criticism in all Europe, as well as in Colombia, Chile and Argentina. He was also a founder of Trio Málaga with whom he made recorded works by Albéniz, Lecuona, Cardoso and Piazzolla.
He has also played with a wide variety of Chamber Ensembles as well as symphony orchestras. Among major concerts is S. Baccarisse’s Concertino in Am with the Málaga Symphony Orchestra.
He has recorded eigth albums in Spain and has collaborated in another production in Germany. Outstanding recordings are the ones with RNE productions, Radio Nacional de España, and Onia Music. His seventh CD is a work based entirely on own guitar compositions. The eighth was recorded in early 2015 with his son, the singer Andrés Pino Jr., and entitled "Dreaming and nothing more". It is an album singing and guitar and contains characteristics of both and some of the most beautiful songs from the repertoire of Latin America.
His over 50 works for solo guitar, camerata or the whole orchestra have been widely acknowledged across the world. Concerto in A Major or the suite Legends are two of his main works for guitar and orchestra.
Pino is also author of a great number of arrangements and transcriptions for guitar, thirty of which have been recorded. Some of the greatest guitarists in the world play any of Pino’s works.
Pino’s main current activities include composition, concerts around the world and teaching. He is a teacher at Costa del Sol school of Music in Fuengirola, Málaga, Spain.
