Molecular Ecology, Evolution & Phylogenomics | Durham University

In the Welch lab we use genetic and genomic approaches to investigate key questions

at the intersection of ecology, evolution, behaviour, and conservation. Projects range

from investigation of responses to environmental change, the evolution of ecological

characters, to the examination of changes in genetic and biodiversity through time.

We study many species, from plants to birds and mammals, with

many projects on marine vertebrates. Learn more.
