The network has worked in partnership with a variety of other organisations, appearing at their events or delivering services for them.
The network thanks these partners who have helped the development and encouragement of the growth of activities.
The South West Lifelong Learning Network (since disbanded?) helped establish the network.
Dorset Community Action enabled the CIC to be established with a development grant.
Dorset County Museum, Dorchester, has encouraged the network and members, hosting initial meetings and workshops, following the Museum's major refurbishment it is now even better than ever! We did a pop-up sales event in September 2021 and hope to return again.
The following have provided support and encouragement by inviting the network to appear at various events:-
Salisbury Museum festivals and educational outreach work.
The Ancient Technology Centre at Cranborne for hosting events and sharing knowledge about technologies and providing inspiration.
AONB Dorset teams - during the South Dorset Ridgeway Project in 2009 and beyond and at Cranborne Chase Wood Fair.
Artsreach for staging the Field Days project celebrating the South Dorset Ridgeway which members were involved with.
Walford Mill Crafts, Wimborne, staging ancient technology workshops.
The RSPB at Arne and Radipole Lake
The Oak Fair, Stock Gaylard, for staging a great event every August Bank Holiday.
EXARC the European body promoting experimental archaeology and open air museums.
