Weekend trip to Torino, Italy, was success. Weather wasn't good, raining and raining. Museum was under recontruction and seemly in not good condition.

It was always said, that Museo Egizio is the biggest Egyptian museum outside of Egypt. I can't believe it. May be it is so, but for me museums in Berlin, London and Paris have bigger collections.

Anyway, Museo Egizio was well organized with explanations for almost all objects. Yes, there were a lot of fact errors, but it is still many times more informative museum than Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where visitors can't even take photos. For researchers it is vital. If Egyptian athorities don't want to make research and preserve antiquities well, then I understand. In Italy situation is better. Earlier I visited also museum in Vatican and it was also well organized museum. Museum is worth of visiting. Torino has also other high quality museums, galleries, theatres etc. Go there and enjoy!
