Amy is studying German equestrian methods while she serves at a organic farm. She is living with the farm's owners, and hopes to increase her German from level 1 to level 3 during her quarter abroad. Every week she prepares a blog post from her daily journals, so that her team at home can learn from what she is learning.

Model Blog 1

Bernie Weigand is writing curriculum for AmbassSS and coordinating with people and institutions in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico and in Southern Oregon to pioneer immersion service learning projects in Tepic and elsewhere, for students in high school and college. This blog is about the "Summer Spanish Immersion 2020" month-long Spanish language classes at Universidad Autónomo de Nayarit (UAN).

She and a future team will seek a Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad grant for educators to improve foreign language curriculum and international studies in the US.
