We cover topics such as principles of feedback and modeling, analysis of continuous-time linear systems, control loop design, classical PID control, controller synthesis, fundamental limitations in design, and different architectures in control. Undergrad level course (~53 students).
[IEE3610 - Sistemas Dinámicos - 2nd Semester 2024] I am teaching Dynamical Systems to senior students in the final year of their degree, at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In this course, we cover topics including linear systems theory (following the textbook by Joao Hespanha), basic concepts of nonlinear systems (using the textbook by Khalil), and an introduction to hybrid system modeling (based on the first chapter of the book by Goebel, Sanfelice, and Teel). Although it's an undergraduate-level course, it is also open to graduate students (~50 students).
