Alejandro I. Maass - Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

I received the "Ingeniero Civil Electrónico" degree and the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM), Chile, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Control Theory from The University of Melbourne (UoM), Australia, in 2019. I was a research assistant and sessional lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering at UTFSM during 2014, and a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UoM from April 2019 to April 2023. Between July 2023 and February 2024, I was an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Engineering Science at Universidad de O'Higgins.

My main research interests include, but are not limited to: Networked control systems; Hybrid and non-linear systems; Wireless control systems; Intelligent transportation systems; and Numerical optimisation.
