Company culture - Extremely good. Lot of empowerment. Good work life balance.
2. Product based companies
Quality of training - Medium. Some have decent training set-up but some lack on this aspect.
Initial pay package - Generally good
Learning & growth opportunities - Good. The only risk is you might be too specialised in certain products / skills which can limit the kind of companies you can apply into. But sometimes specialisation does pay dividends.
Company culture - Varies company to company.
3. Captive units
These are such as HSBC, other investment banks etc - basically companies whose core business is not IT but they have their inhouse IT centre. These company pays well but they generally don't hire freshers. Even if they hire freshers, these are not good for freshers
