Physio Camps

In May 2009, Alicja has participated at her first physio camp in Poland which has improved her physical abilities, made her more sociable, open and playful. We had to go to Poland as, unfortunately, physio camps like this don’t exist in Ireland. This was a 12 days intensive stay filled with physiotherapy as well as speech and language and occupation therapy. Hypo therapy (horse riding), dogs therapy, jacuzzi baths, trampolines, massages, music therapy were also part of the program. To reach the maximum efficiency special needs children should participate at this camp at least 4 times a year. The cost of every camp is around €1500. We would like Alicja to go to this kind of camp as often as possible.
