Wrestler of the Week for November 8^this Grade 12 wrestler Prateesh Giri. Prateesh’s selection as the first WOW of the season will come as no surprise to anyone involved in the Alberni Wrestling Program in recent years. Prateesh was the recipient of the character award in 2018. Prateesh always models the values of hard work and dedication espoused by the Alberni Valley Wrestling Club. His teammates acknowledge that he is always working his hardest, challenging himself with tougher matches, and supporting his teammates. These are just some of the reasons why Prateesh is an excellent choice for Wrestler of the Week.
