The dome was painted by a team of Palestinian painters with the help of University of Technology MARA's Fine Arts students.
The reading rooms are designated for both Quiet Study and Collaborative Study. The first floor is designated as the Collaborative Study Area whereas the second and third floors are the Quiet Study Areas. The Ground Floor is meant for leisure reading, book exhibitions and borrowing activities. The total seating capacity exceeds 1000.
The primary goal of the AIU Library is to argument the teaching and learning activities of the university. This can be achieved by providing an active, frequently used collection of print and online resources that support the university curriculum and facilitate teaching and learning, research as well as administrative activities of the University. Materials for light reading, development of soft-skills, hobbies and interests are also available.
