Monte Verità rises on the hills above Ascona and Lake Maggiore. The hotel has a few rooms that participants will be able to use in the evening for socializing. Feel free to bring board games or any equipment you wish for outdoor activities.

We recommend a 1.5-2h walk from Monte Verita to the Balladrum peak, with a great view on the lake and the town.

Take a boat ride to Brissago Islands
Consisting of two amazing islands, with one island located near Lake Maggiore and another one in Brissago, the Brissago Islands house a botanical park that belongs to the Canton of Ticino. The Brissago Islands are covered with exotic subtropical vegetation, which makes an excellent place for relaxation.
Lovely hike. About 1 hour away from Ascona by bus (Take Bus 1 from Ascona, Manor Delta to Minusio, Esplanade and then bus 321 to Lavertezzo, Paese).
Verzasca Dam - 007 Golden Eye Bungee Jump
The Verzasca Dam can be reached from Gordola via a two kilometer long section of road. The jumping station is in the middle of the dam wall. It is the world's highest stationary bungee station. A reservation is absolutely essential for those planning to take the 007 Jump or GoldenEye Bungee Jump.
