Tributes to Minnesotans
These Minnesotans are inspiring people that are truly acting as the hands and feet of Jesus to improve the lives of those in poverty or great need. These individuals and their service come to mind when I read Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.”

Richard Creates a Food Packet.

Richard is responsible for meal formula that has been packaged by many organizations to feed hungry people all over the world.
Reiser in Haiti. 2010. Ceramic, oxide and wire. 6"D x 6"W x 19"H.
Tribute to the work and programs Father Reiser started in Haiti to care for those in great need.
The Sandwich Man.

Retired teacher Mr. Law distributes sandwiches & water to those in need nightly on the streets of Minneapolis.

MN Doctor volunteers his skills to treat those in need in Saigon. (Donated)
Chester & Clara.

Chester and Clara had 610 foster children during their 42 years of service as foster parents in Anoka County. This tribute to them contains impressions of 610 tiny sets of footprints.
MN Water Truck Driver in Haiti.

Kevin delivers 6,000-10,000 gallons of clean water on a regular basis to people in Cite Soleil, a slum in Haiti. He and the water truck he drives is from Minnesota. (Sold)
Ronda of Reach and Restore.

Ronda started by collecting items for the needy in her garage. When that got too full, she began the Reach and Restore organization where she continues to provide for the needy in her community.
Rev. Noah Smith.
2011. Ceramic and glaze.

102 year old pastor at Wayman African Methodist Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, Rev. Smith is a man of many talents. He preaches, teaches, paints, draws, and even plays the drums. (Donated to Rev. Smith)
Ramone Delivers to Haiti.

Working with groups in MN to assemble food packets, Ramone then leads teams to distribute them in Haiti.
Irene the Cookie Lady.
2012. Ceramic, underglaze, oxide & glaze.
17"D x 8"W x 14"H.
Irene bakes 50 dozen cookies for MN Teen Challenge each week. Her faith and work ethic are inspiring. She even brought me cookies when she came to see her work on display. (Sold)

Jill is a faithful servant to the needy of her community, working tirelessly to feed, shelter and improve their lives. (Donated)
