Summary
There are limitless options when making your own proxies.
I hope these examples have helped you create yours.
Some final thoughts...
Below you can see the same geocoin with five different proxy versions.
Try them out, and see what fits you and your needs.
(Laminated, poker chip, washer, wood pieces)
Notice, it isn't necessary to put the entire image on the proxy if it doesn't fit or if you want a unique look.
You can even use wood burning or marker for the back.
Make sure it is dry, or dab the mod podge on so it doesn't smear (like I did a bit).
Your proxy doesn't have to be a circle either. Make it any shape you want.
You can also make the proxy bigger or smaller than the original geocoin.
If you put your geocoins in a binder, you probably have plenty of flips laying around.
These are great for protecting proxies from the elements.
Cut them in half and just tape the top shut. You could include coin's mission inside as well.
Also, feel free to get creative!
Bottom line is have FUN! Good luck in your projects and your proxy's travels!
