Notes: The maker's mark with the kneeling potter with the intials J. G. indicates this pattern was produced by James Gildea of the Dale Hall Works. The inclusion of the second mark, however, indicates this pattern was actually produced by the Dale Hall Pottery Co. between 1891 and 1892. The partners were John Lucas, George Harrison Shubotham, and Edward Alfred Wedgwood . They were concurrent with Keeling & Co., the firm that succeeded James Gildea, and would have shared the Dale Hall Works with them, a common practice.
