Game System
The following pages present material specific to the GURPS, Third Edition, Revised, rules set.
Players will be expected to be familiar with GURPS Lite at a bare minimum, and preferably with the Basic Set and Compendium I. Players of characters with nonhuman races or supernatural powers should be familiar with Compendium I, Magic (Second Edition; and optionally, Grimoire), and Psionics, as appropriate. (I am using Compendium I to create most nonhuman races rather than using those provided in Fantasy and Fantasy Folk, because I don't want my species to be too much like "brand name" races from GURPS's Yrth, Tolkien's Middle-Earth, the many worlds of D&D, etc.)
Other key books which I am using to write and run this campaign include Compendium II, Bestiary (Third Edition), Fantasy Bestiary, Low-Tech,and Religion. Players need not be familiar with these books.
