ACHEVE was envisioned in 2015 by Professor Vish Krishnan at the University of California, but involves a larger team of dedicated contributors including:

Our mission is to work for the advancement and transformation of learning and education by by building, upgrading, maintaining and operating physical and digital schools and educational programs. We aim to leverage digital/mobile technology and a global community of volunteers and mentors for:
a) establishing and operating literacy training programs and classes for children, youth and adults
b) providing supplemental educational facilities and programs that help young persons and, in particular, those that are marginalized and/or disadvantaged;
c) establishing and operating educational and instructional programs for parents and other members of communities to promote nutrition, sanitation, health care and disease prevention.
To foster development and relieve poverty by:
a) establishing and operating programs for the relief of malnutrition
b) contributing to all-round growth, recreation, and action-learning for children and youth of low income families
c) assisting in the creation and operation of community developed programs for health care, transportation services, communication, water and sewage treatment and energy supplies in impoverished communities
d) organizing and operating programs for community members promoting basic skills training and economic self sufficiency.
