Presentation: LA Metro: Best Practices in Schedule Quality and Forensic Analysis

Speaker: Mark von Leffern, Hill International and Jarod Maloney, Deltek

On November 8th, 2016, the citizens of Los Angeles County approved the Los Angeles County Traffic Improvement Plan (LACTIP) ballot measure, or “Measure M,” with an overwhelming 71% “yes” vote, entrusting Metro with the responsibility to plan and deliver one of the largest capital improvement programs in the nation.  This presentation will take a closer look at the best practices implemented by LA Metro around planning and scheduling and how project intelligence they were able to glean through advanced analytics and problem resolution led to more predictable/reliable results in support of their project decision making processes.
