Hot chocolate Bombs

you will need:

a kinder egg (or any chocolate egg that you can separate easily)

3 tsp hot chocolate powder

mini marshmallows

Unwrap your chocolate egg and remove the toy by carefully cracking open the egg.

(we used a warm knife to cut though this)

Once you have two egg shell halves, fill one half with your hot chocolate mix and mini marshmallows.

Take a microwave safe plate and warm it for approximately 1 minute in the microwave. (alternatively you can run one under the hot tap until it is warm) Stick the remaining empty shell onto the warm plate to slightly melt the edges. Quickly bring both halves of the egg shells together to form a seal and complete your “bomb”. (we also used a warm knife to seal around the side)

Once cooled, place your hot chocolate bomb in a cup and slowly pour hot milk over top. Watch as the egg begins to crack open to reveal its delicious chocolate and marshmallows.
