HVAC Filter

Spare filters are in the utility room behind the kitchen.

The filter is behind a grille on the front wall of the dining area.

Alarms/Detectors

Smoke detector on the ceiling of each bedroom and the hall; carbon monoxide detector on the ceiling in the kitchen and end of the hall.

To test press down on the "Test" button until the alarm goes off, hold down for a moment longer, then release. The alarm should begin and then stop shortly after.

UTILITY EMERGENCY SHUTOFF

Electrical: circuit panel in the utility room, on the wall on the right as you enter.

Water: main value at the floor in the master bedroom closet, on the left as you enter; turn clockwise to close

Natural Gas: meter is next to the wall of the back side of house. Use wrench provided at meter to close (clockwise 90 degrees) valve on left side of meter next to ground

Coaxial Cable Network

The house has a coaxial cable network, with outlets in the living room, dining room, & back bedroom. All you need for FREE HDTV from many local stations is an antenna, splitter/amplifier, and short (patch) cables. The network also allows connection to high speed internet (at tenant expense, optional) from the cable company. Check with owner for more information.
