Andrew Huang came to Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church and was called to be music director in February 2019. Prior to FAPC, he has over 35 years of experience leading numerous churches as music and choir director. Andrew began his music training in Vancouver Canada. He studied piano with Glen Geary at the University of British Columbia as well as Nancy Garniez and Barbara Krakauer at the Mannes School of Music. He held post as principal pianist at The Anna Wyman Dance Company and the dance department at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. Andrew works regularly as accompanist to vocalists as well as instrumentalists and performs with chamber groups throughout New York including the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Sacred Music.
