Videographer Aaron has been honing his skill for decades. He purchased his first camcorder in his 20's, a full sized VHS cam, for recording family events. He started building skills with non-linear video editing while creating reality-TV audition videos.
Aaron taught Video Production for several years in public school, his classes twice awarded the "Best in State" by the Detroit Film & Video Contest for best newscast. He soon added event videography including secondary school productions: concerts, plays, musicals for school districts, making DVD copies for cast and crew for dozens of productions. In addition, he's recorded theatrical productions for StageGR, Caledonia Community Players, and the Village Players of Middleville.
Around the same time, Aaron attended and hosted conferences, recording lectures and interviews, which were published to YouTube channels: Local Future, Stage Performances, and others. Examples of conferences and events recorded include: Michigan Renewable Energy Fair, Pierce Cedar Creek Energy Fair, FARM USA Animal Protection Conference, Local Future Conferences, North American Vegan Society Summerfest, Grand Rapids VegFest, the Circle Pines Center Buttermilk Jamboree, and more.
He has worked as videographer for numerous weddings, as well as one-on-one interviews, including an interviews with authors such as Daniel Quinn of "Ishmael", Steve Keen, Chris Martenson, and more.
Aaron believes in the value of family trees and genealogy, and has recorded "Senior Interviews" which capture the memories and stories of grandparents for their family members and descendants.
After over two decades of videography, Aaron maintains an inventory of advanced camcorders, tripods, 360-cams and more and the expertise to use them.
