The District 318 Endowment Fund is supporting a Legacy of Greatness for District 318 students and staff. The Grant Committee will consider requests that are consistent with available funding, grant procedures, and the fund’s mission. The criteria for selection are listed below.
Benefit to students is clearly presented.
Preference may be given to projects that demonstrate particular creativity and innovation.
The project could be replicated if successful and/or impacts a large number of students.
The project is not currently a district-funded activity.
The project cannot fund staff extra-duty pay, substitute teacher pay, or continuing education opportunities.
A complete budget document must be included, demonstrating how awarded funds will be spent. Please include shipping costs or transportation request forms, if applicable.
Building principal must approve the request before it is submitted.
If more than one request is submitted, applicants should indicate priority for consideration.
Note: The available disbursement of grant funds changes each school year. Thus, all applications are considered carefully against the above criteria. A previously awarded grant request does not guarantee subsequent awards, including for the same or a similar project.
