About Us
Mission Statement
The District 318 Endowment Fund represents a community-based effort to provide supplemental funding, independent of the school budget, to assist and enhance the education of the students in Independent School District 318 public schools.
HOW IT BEGAN
The District 318 Endowment Fund began as an effort led by a group of teachers who wanted to do more to engage students but were constrained by budget. In 1997, thanks to a donor’s generous gift and a matching grant from the Blandin Foundation, the endowment fund was established. Since then, the endowment has grown to provide over $30,000 each school year to enhance educational endeavors.
Program Development Goals
To supplement and enhance the strategic aims and goals of the school district.
To support the pursuit of excellence by ISD 318 staff.
To assist in establishing a learning and working partnership between the educational community, business, government, and non-profits.
