The Halton Apprentices Triennial Reunion 2016

Here we are back at our old home of Halton once again. This time though we were joined by Derek (Dek) Harper who was found after some fine detective work by Roddy.

On parade this year were Dave Colbert, Derek Harper, Roddy McKenzie, Ian MacGilvery and Adrian Small. The photo on the left shows us relaxing in the Autumn sunshine outside 1 Wing (Henderson) Mess.

We kicked off by showing Derek around the Trenchard Museum and started the first of many episodes of chat and banter.

Luncheon was taken in the 1 Wing (Henderson, Cordon Blue/Grey) community restaurant.

After lunch we formed up by the parade square and marched down to workshops over "Main Point" led by the "Golden Oldies". Church parade was largely ignored (At least we have a choice now.)

Some of the other entries came too.

We finally gathered at the RAFA Club down at the airfield, had a very pleasant afternoon in the sun and all drifted off home, quite sober for a change.
