The Bungle Bungles

The Bungle Bungles is in north east of Western Australia. The nearest major town is Kununurra to the north

Access to the park by road is via Spring Creek Track, approximately 250 km south of Kununurra, to the track's end at the visitor

centre. The track is 53 km long and is usable only in the dry season (about 1 April to 31 December), and only by 4WD vehicles. 

The formation are totally unique and well worth the few days we spent exploring the area.

Running repairs

At last we are getting organised in the Land rover, we may have too much gear and finding a spot for everything is difficult.

I have fitted a new bonnet release cable, certainly makes checking the oil every day a lot easier, also fitted a new handbrake cable, I did not feel any urgency on this but Tonia seemed keen to get it fixed after a minor incident on the edge of The Victoria River, and after some delicate fiddling inside the handbrake light activator we also have a light telling us when / if we leave the handbrake on, getting quite good at fixing things up. 

A drop more oil in the transfer box was a good idea but now it is subject to a small amount of seepage.
