Design & Fabrication of Pipe Cleaning Robot

Industrial ductwork has been widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical engineering, water supply and other special professions. The formidable work environment makes pipelines easy to be eroded or fatigued which can lead to leaking accident, so the periodic maintenance and overhaul are necessary for industrial pipelines. The absence of fresh air makes it impossible for humans to perform the maintenance task.

This is a Mechanical engineering final year project on "design and fabrication of pipe cleaning robot", but Electronics student can also use it for their final year project. The main aim of this project is on the practical aspects of design, prototyping, and testing of a compact, a compliant external pipe-crawling robot that can inspect a closely spaced bundle of pipes in hazardous environments and areas that are inaccessible to humans.
